Just watched a new #YouTube video about Apex Electronics here in the Valley. Apex is, well, uh, one of a kind. You can look it up. There's likely nothing else of its sort left in the U.S. if not in the entire world. You can easily see why electronics techies and special effects/props teams live by that place. Notably, I haven't been there for decades. But the videos show that it apparently hasn't changed at all, not inside nor in the voluminous outside overflow. In fact, I just noticed that some of the larger items I noted long, long ago (like considerably back in the previous century) are still there. I love L.A.

@lauren They claim this is a wire wrap tool, but I think it an original Star Trek prop. https://www.ebay.com/itm/325625643761?epid=20050866584&hash=item4bd0cd02f1:g:mbkAAOSwBOBkQXsU

@lauren There was a NASA surplus store in Orlando that naturally eventually sold all that old junk, but kept finding new stuff to sell and is still going: https://skycraftsurplus.com/
