I have a weird computer question. My sighted husband wants to get a little device he can try out Linux distros on. Each of us has enough knowledge about computers to make us dangerous. We looked at Chromebooks, but they are kind of complicated for us to manipulate in order to enable/install Linux. Now he’s looking at a pi400. Anyone have suggestions for a mini/laptop that will do the job? Is the pi400 a good choice for playing with distros?#linux

@Pipistrelle Pi will limit his options to only those that support ARM but that's a narrowing list.

Hubby wants something new and doesn’t want to use a VM. He’s a bit wary of getting a used laptop.

Of course, he had a hand-me-down laptop for many years, so I may talk him out of this wariness to use second-hand laptops. LOL

@justinz That's a very good point; thanks for that.
