       I don't think Democrats should copy every Republican tactic, but it is useful to imagine how they would react. If it had come out that liberal justices had received lavish gifts and done business with people who had business before the Court without disclosure, they would be screaming on every cable network and talking about impeachment. #scotus #democrats

       Would it work? Not necessarily. But the message being pushed in the public would be that this is wrong and unacceptable. Instead we get weakly worded letters asking if these justices might be willing to discuss tweaking their disclosure rules.
