       @SchoolhouseRocked Lack of being self driven has to do with direct instruction / operant conditioning. Children learn procrastination through training in school - to only do what they are told to do when they are told to do it, which strips them of their natural self driven curiosity. The only real solution is to get away from that factory style of education and go towards Montessori, which is the only educational model built based on natural human tendencies.
