@misty this might be even worse, because people who want no autoplay can use this, and if they see a "Hey, pay us to get a feature that you already have", this is going to make them think of the website as something bad. and those who like autoplay just dont care enough

@misty every day they beg for some coder with enough time to say "Enough!" and develop a simple browser(-plugin) that strips all that nonsense from a page, applies a user supplied CSS and just showing that. In essence a browser or browser plugin to read news in peace.

@misty THIS is why I block all the content and why using #Lynx #Browser over #Tor & @torproject #TorBrowser is basically #DigitalSelfDefense at this point: This shit should be banned as "waste of traffic" and if I were on mobile networks, I'd sent them a bill for the wasted traffic they caused.
