New PID tuning menu. I'm really happy with the UI - you can edit three float numbers with just the knob (rotary + push). Insignificant zeros are hidden.

of course float is somewhat illusory here because you are editing three integers with a fake decimal point, or, actually, you are editing a buffer of 18 bytes holding the individual digits. But they become float after you save it

@piggo has it ever been hard to tune PID stuff? I had a difficult time trying get a PID based line following robot working. do you have any tips for tuning PID algorithms?

@0xdd trial and errorthere are some guides and rules of thumb, but nothing works terribly well and/or universally.this is for an oven heater, a very slow system with slow reaction time. Tuning it should be quite easy.
