       @ChrisMayLA6 @mike805 I like that idea.  I think I'll rally my conscientious objecting pensioner friends (1950s women conned by the State) to descend on Sainsburys and nosh the offerings in the bakery section while playing The Red Flag on our smartphones and offering up our purple hats for donations. "A collective programme of theft is a revolution".  Indeed sir!

       @RhiMG well it depends on what you steal and who you steal it from, doesn't it?When the USA has a riot, they tend to loot the liquor stores in poor neighborhoods, and drink the store's inventory right up. Not exactly a revolutionary act. Then they complain about "food deserts."But if society declines to the point where people are genuinely starving, and someone leads an orderly crowd into a high end grocery to eat, without getting drunk or wrecking the place, that would be an act of protest.
