Brave Search removes last remnant of Bing from search results page, achieving 100% independence and providing real alternative to Big Tech searchhttps://brave.com/search-independence/

@thenewoil All things considered, my question actually is: why isn’t Brave Big Tech? I believe it is.

@PublicLewdness @thenewoil also, independent doesn't mean accurate or neutral. It could still be biased ('curated')

@tommi Because this largely depends on your definition of Big Tech. In the privacy community, "Big Tech" typically refers to companies who abuse your data and possess a near monopoly on technology. Brave does not fit either of these categories.

@thenewoil Ok, so your definition of “Big Tech” stems from a privacy-first interpretation, rather than an economical one…To me, it is wrong and worrying to detach the social and political aspects (thus including privacy) from the economical one.
