Does anyone know how to move these disks over to a new drive?

@Rasp non credo che si possa fare. Ricordo di aver letto che ogni scheda crittografa il disco a modo suo, non credo che sia facile

@DigiDavidex I mean the actual problem is not encryption so much as the disks being exposed to open unfiltered air XD

@Rasp you need to write the data from your old disk to your new disk. take a pencil and start scribbling the plates until they look roughly the same

@Rasp Just put a fan in front of it, facing backwards, so it sucks air away from it.

@Rasp @Mia eh, I've done some head swaps on the desk in my office and pulled >99% of the data, that air wasn't particularly clean, (that was a weird week, 3 drives, all needing head swaps, it actually convinced me to finally build a little clean box in case I had to do more)

@Rasp This got me thinking. Mythbusters did how fast a CD has to spin to have a critical failure. These things go considerably faster in normal usage. Now I'm just pondering how fast they'd have to go to shatter on the spindle and how much damage they could do. :P

@Rasp use some tweezers. You have to keep it really steady otherwise the bits fall off.
