I just wrote the possessive of Beatrix as "Beatrix's" and wondered if it was standard; thought I'd ask @grammargirl. But then I googled it. Still, I was wondering about that -trix suffix and wondered if there was a masculine name (?) "Beator." Then I thought about lunch... Mexican deli? School cafeteria? Or classroom emergency ramen?

@jpv206 Interesting question! It looks like Beatrix is a form of Beatrice, and as far as I can tell, there's no masculine equivalent (but I see why you'd ask given "editor/editrix").https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatrix
