       Interesting that BlueSky is doing a protocol when ActivityPub is right there (here?). Is this the social media version of the connector conspiracy?

       @ctp they are pretty clear about why ActivityPub wouldn’t work for them. I’d rather see us on one main protocol too for ease if interoperability, but I fully understand the decision here https://atproto.com/guides/faq#why-not-use-activitypub

       @film_girl @ctp It does seem like the BlueSky folks could’ve worked on these shortcomings and submitted them for potential addition to the ActivityPub spec.
