I am so offended that my local coffee shop blocks YouTube comments, Youtube live videos, and Reddit altogether, on their wifi. I'm pretty sure the owners are religious, are they trying to save us from the Devil through blocking Reddit? It seems so unnecessary and irritating.

@amerika Like me I guess. Not that I'm on social media that much, but I go to a coffee shop to hang out, I never just take a coffee and go.

@cameron Me too. Or at least, I do if they do not manage to drive me away with the terrible music.But, no social media. The backbone of any cafe are the day workers and drive-thru coffee buyers. The social media people just hang out for hours and buy a single glass of water.

@amerika Yup, that's fair enough. The Reddit bugs me because when I'm searching to debug things I find so many answers on Reddit and then can't see those answers. 😺

@cameron That is frustrating. I have no rebuttal there.However, you may find higher quality answers outside Reddit and Stack Overflow... There are specialized knowledge bases, like the Perl Monks, which are worth their weight in gold.
