@gmcgath Depends on the scale of your traveling. In our world being 5000 miles away from most everybody (e.g. Greenland and Alaska) doesn't do you much good (unless you're a cargo aircraft, hence why Anchorage is one of the busiest cargo airports in the world), but from the point of view of, say, someone who has a Mach 5 personal aircraft somewhere like Greenland or Alaska is very centrally located. In the distant future such places might experience a population boom because of that.
