       @Penelope @Green_Footballs Simply restating the paradox.  Intolerance of intolerance doesn’t need fall within the law, when the intolerant are trying to destroy the law.The paradox states the liberal democratic state must act if the intolerant attempt to destroy the system.  We’re way past that at this point.

       @Penelope @Green_Footballs Indeed.  And the "solution" to the paradox is to recognize that tolerance is not an isolated virtue, to be had or not had.  Tolerance must be implemented as pact, a treaty, a code.  It exists *between* people, it does not reside *in* people.

       @Green_Footballs @Penelope And this is why minorities aren’t looking for tolerance. Acceptance is what we need. A person can “tolerate” something that is bad. Accepting something that’s good seems to be harder, though.
