       The difference between Mastodon and a Twitter, Post, or Bluesky etc is lessons learned vs not. The UX here is still very suboptimal but that can be eventually fixed. Being owned by a profit-seeking billionaire/VC/whatever can’t be fixed.

       @dkiesow If you’re running your own instance, @rolle has put together Mastodon Bird UI (https://github.com/ronilaukkarinen/mastodon-bird-ui) which makes the Mastodon UI so much better. If that’s not possible, @elk is a fantastic web client for Mastodon (try it at https://elk.zone or https://elk.mininull.com). I love the options.
