It kinda feels like some "AI"-enthusiasts have never been at a (good) concert. How they are not about mimicry of the album version of a song but about a collective experience, about how a room and the personal headspace of a performer changes their interpretation and performance of their own art.

@tante not to mention classical music where people really care about which recording of a piece they are listening to, sometime even from the same performers, and for good reason.

@tante That feeling when a song, that’s a well loved staple of the bands set, unexpectedly explodes because the room is just right that day and the moods of audience and performers catch each other to create a unique moment in time…that’s the stuff. 😍🎶

@tante I believe there are multiple tech billionaires (Bezos definitely, maybe Musk?) who have said they either don't listen to music or don't like being at concerts. Which makes Bezos' Coachella double date deeply funny.

@tante How can you not love real music and concert. The last time I went to a rock band concert I lost my voice 😂Monkey see monkey do people are "high on their own drug they're making" — they always think they are better than those who are not like them; they are lost and it's their loss.
