       #Ukraine “Aidar” soldier Evgeniy Dikiy sheds some light on the recent developments in Kherson area but more importantly on the #Russia attempts to secure a ceasefire:Russia has in fact launched a very powerful diplomatic information campaign in recent months, which in Russian style I would describe as “forcing a ceasefire”. They started with voicing proposals for a ceasefire and a conflict freeze by such odious figures as Lukashenko, then Xi Jinping got involved, then Brazilian President Da Silva and of course everyone in the West is involved, who for different reasons - some for pro-Russian reasons, and some simply because they do not understand what is happening - are ready to call for a conflict freeze.The most important part:It is absolutely clear to us that the so-called “Korean option”, that is, freezing the conflict along the current front line, is only beneficial to Russia right now. They need it critically. They need a long pause, ideally about six months, to carry out a new wave of mobilisation and somehow restart the defence industry, very much slowed down by the sanctions. They need to restart production of at least ammunition, and preferably armoured vehicles repair, at the same pace as before the big war and before the sanctions. And they need another big wave of people: to mobilize at least 200 thousand more people and put them into service. And they are trying by all means, by all means to get this pause, respite. To do this they need a temporary ceasefire.On the “Pentagon leaks”:This is why all diplomatic, all information channels are being activated. I think that this is the reason why the Russians dispersed Teixeira’s papers. I’m not talking about what Teixeira himself poured them out for. That’s where we really seem to be dealing with a silly boy. After all, two months have passed from the time Teixeira’s papers were leaked to the time they were dispersed through the telegram feeds already in a slightly edited form by the Russians. It seems that one of the main purposes of this second operation - the dispersal through the channels - was clearly to promote that secret document which states that the war will not end in 2023, but will most likely end in a military draw anyway. That neither side can win. I think the promotion of this very document was one of the key objectives of this information operation.Unfortunately, these arguments are finding their audience. Some people in the West take it seriously, not understanding that the freezing of the conflict in this case is a victory for Putin. Moreover, not understanding that freezing the conflict today will lead to the conflict resuming in the very near future with the new forces that Russia will gather and throw into it. Not only does this not achieve the goal of a stable peace, but the cost of this war tomorrow could be much higher and the results could be catastrophic.
