       Classrooms are like, the worst possible place for a debate to have ever been conceived by humanityyou're putting someone in a position of inherent power and giving them the final say on debates while making sure any opposition is drowned in other students' voicesthere is no two way transfer of knowledge. there is no "the professor is also learning". how have we not evolved past this bs

       the student is not encouraged to collect their thoughts and not allowed to elaborate and everything they say is put under immediate peer pressure and scrutinywe organize our educational institutions like Steven Crowder is the patron saint of teachers. wtf
