       People never comment on the optics of me being pleasant to the people who treat me shitty to my face day in and day out but as soon as I serve it back it’s “bad optics”How about listening to trans women and the frustrations we have no choice but to constantly hold back. If you aren’t marginalized in the same way as me, do not fucking talk to me about the “optics” of losing my shit in public (ppl who are marginalized in the same way literally never have cuz they know)

       As a trans woman I am, very obviously to me, held to a much higher social standard than any of my cis peers. If I exceed those expectations you raise the bar, and if I fail to meet them I’m reprimanded. How about you literally just leave me alone
