       If you listen to this audio, it’s pretty clear they’re not joking and I’ve already seen some excuses flying around that they were. They weren’t. No one laughs.        @TonyStark when is it funny to joke about killing journalists and lynching black people anyway? Especially when you are in a law enforcement capacity? These people have no excuse and they know it. Amazing they seem to have any sense of shame. That is largely absent from right wingers.

       @TonyStark As a resident of Oklahoma (and also father to a young journalist who studied under Dr. Senat mentioned in the article), I am ashamed that these horrible, racist people hold office in a remote corner of my state. However, I am glad (and honestly, surprised) the governor called for their resignation. Please know that this Oklahoman and many others like me are disgusted by this behavior.

       @TonyStark there isn’t anything funny about what we hear on this recording, and that’s what’s so terrifying; there’s no laughter. None at all. These creatures are discussing hiring a hit man and lamenting the end of lynching and they’re saying it conversationally, almost casually, as if it’s something they say to each other all the time. Gives me f*cking chills.
