@grammargirl I assume this does not include editing. I dod video so the reset is worse per take, but multiple takes are the worst, and it seems the short ones end up with more problems than the big ones.

@MakeAppPie That actually did include editing. And yes, video is vastly harder—many multiples of the time required for audio.

@grammargirl I try to avoid doing images over raw audio if I can -- that takes even longer for me. I'll screen shot a Powerpoint so at least I'm close to what I want to start. There's plenty of overlays here, but I started narrating a PowerPoint/Keynote on this video for example. https://youtu.be/75-W8XlN8bE

@MakeAppPie That's nice! I've found that Descript significantly speeds up adding static images for me. It actually takes longer to find and create the images than add them, but it's still a lot of time.

@grammargirl I'm trying to record a narration for a video I want to publish this week and there's so much wind-related noise where I am that I'm not even going to bother trying to record. I need a quieter place.

@mlanger Yup! There were stretches of days during the recent storms when I couldn't record anything. Today, I had to keep stopping for loud trucks going by (and I live in a quiet neighborhood, but I guess it was "delivery hour").

@grammargirl that why I try to avoid it at that stage. I find making images to an audio will have me searching longer than making audio to images. I'm using lumafusion on my iPad, should look more into descript.
