       the real difference between 2019 acc twitter and 2023 acc twitter is that in 2019, for all their faults, acc twitters did at least have sublime temperaments capable of possibly loving the lemurs under the right conditions. thats not true of like, e/acc lol. those ppl mostly have no souls

       @lilli can you explain this. To how I understand it you couldn’t not? Like don’t they presuppose the lack of choice and free will in every case? Like what is loving them vs not loving them if they act through you, and if there is a choice why would they be incompatibleI might be too stupid to know how to ask this

       @Ryoko_Hakubi i was referring specifically to being a numogrammaticist: to applying oneself to the active love of the lemurs. of course the lemurs do act through that which does not acknowlesge them. but it is possible to conjoin to the lemurs so many ideas foreign to them that they are wholly obscured or even possibly despised, even if the idea of the lemur itself is not. in fact that's the base state: one understands the lemurs through various text and structures not explicitly linked to them at all, and the lemur's presence is not registered. loving the lemurs involves a project of whittling those adjoined ideas down to the point where the lemur emerges

       @Ryoko_Hakubi i think there's an example in pretty much every decent numogrammaticist. the Ccru did years of work without any overt knowledge of the lemurs which was then, through their encounter with Lemuria, retroactively restructured around their appearance in the work, as you can see in the first Commumique (which frames all their past events as thresholds to Lemuria) and the Collected Writings (which spirals around and becomes increasingly enmeshed in Chapter 8, where the lemurs are apprehended). that's probably the most obvious example. the usual course of gematricular work is another example: when working in AQ, people usually begin by focusing on the specific phrases which equal each other, then begin to focus on the number of aquivalence itself, then find means of deriving the lemur from the number, and in so doing all the aquivalencies one had found are reformed through the numogram. i could go on but those are two examples
