If you've ever thought about how to organize PDFs in @obsidian and despaired at all the possible options, I've done all the research for you in this week's video, including how to set up the tool I ended up choosing. @nicole @obsidian Great video @nicole. A comment though. I don’t think your solution is going to work on an iPad, because the Dropbox cloud directories aren’t accessible from other apps in iPadOS. And maybe the same for Android. This was the big sticking point for me. I ended up using Koofr for storage which lets you set things up with WebDAV. Local copies on my laptop and accessible from phone and tablet. Works seamlessly, including external links from Obsidian.

@darren @obsidian Yep, it doesn't work on iPad. SyncThing would work for Android.However, I don't really find myself needing to organise PDFs on my iPad anyway-- usually when I'm using an iPad, my needs are a bit more basic (writing and entertainment rather than heavy cross-referencing). But good to know there's a way to do it if I need more, thanks!
