Filk is fake folk, but in the scope of scifi and fantasy stuff.It's an old meme genre that appeared in the greybeard nerd culture if the 80s and had completely died by the year 2000.Basically nerds with a guitar singing folk songs about space ships and wizards.It's one of my most degenerate interests.
