@boilingsteam I actually upgraded those disks this year (last ones a few months ago). What did I do with the old ones ? Raid0 and slapped them in my desktop. Free useless 14TB for Windows lol.

@boilingsteam primarily because I got it very cheap and because there are many games I play occasionally so spinners are a good place for those games. Also I record videos and do video editing so I use them as cold storage. But yes, it's mostly for gaming but not for games I play daily.

@boilingsteam Two 4TB external USB HDD, each broke after 6-12 months (slow so that it's unusable) when compiling packages using Gentoo Linux.

@boilingsteam yes, but it was a big USB drive. Haven’t gotten an internal spinner in a long time.
