So #Pepsi couldn’t complete with #CocaCola back in 1971 so it was cheaper to buy Pizza Hut, Taco Bell & KFC so they could exclusively sell Pepsi thereAnd to save money combine it again, removing locations, lobbying with the states and gov to keep wages low so they don’t have to pay out for thatHoly shit, what a SHIT company

@stux I worked in IT for Taco Bell for a bit in the late 90s.Pizza Hut had bought up a LOT of Winchell’s Donut locations in the early 90s and turned them into delivery-only pizza factories. Some years later, when I was there, they were brainstorming how to drive traffic outside the afternoon/evening pizza delivery rush. I suggested donuts. The room went silent. I didn’t get invited to any more of those business strategy meetings. 🤡
