@stux Can you share the reason why instances store the full post from second parties, instead of storing the caption & metadata for all posts and let the local user pull the content directly from the other server? Won't this ease moderation load? What is the tradeoff?

HI, @stux. 👋🏻I’m a @mas.to moderator. We’ve been having lots of discussions over here about that instance. The pedophilia content has been crushing us emotionally.I’m so happy to see you taking this hard stance. We’re doing the same thing over here on a united front.It’s a shame for their legitimate account holders, because they offer some great content. But this is on the admins who are failing everyone on this paramount issue.
