@DrBtc @Jim @flux @Elliptica So what you're saying is...they need someone with balls to come in as the new governor, declare a state of emergency and require a curfew while going scorched earth El Salvador on the criminals to get a handle on the shit show, all the while forcing the scum fucks that turned the state to shit to clean up their mess both literally with neighborhood cleanup events that are mandatory but figuratively with proper education on just how retarded they are? They can just go to the same reeducation camps they want to send right wingers to and boom, they understand that letting criminals run rampant and not holding anyone accountable is a bad idea....... otherwise that stay at camp is gonna be a long one. Hell, while we're at it we can also jail the former governor for his bullshit, as well as the current and former legislature for their failures and do so under the boot of the national guard which will only answer to the governor. They wanna fix it, that's the only way...make examples, bring back public shaming rituals like the stockades and make people join in by force if needed. Lastly, yes ...I am serious...fuck em, iron fist control for a bit until they can learn from their mistakes.

@Jim @flux This vid's from 4 years ago and is worth the whole watch but there's a part that shows how little they care. It starts at the 4:25 mark where the city council man tells people if there's a crime being committed to call 911, gets booed and jeered by the crowd, some woman screams at them that the police say their hands are tied, that the police tell her to vote them out, and the entire council laughs at her at 4:50.
