For some reason the Silversea cruise line (owned by RCL) wi-fi blocks https://notion.so. Which is kind of a bummer because I used Notion to store all my travel info!Fortunately it works on the cell connection.

@seth Fortunately I was able to export the Notion page to markdown and import it into both Obsidian and Logseq - which both sync fine. I'm still trying to pick between the two. Logseq is open source, Obsidian is more polished. Both store in markdown so they're future proof and interoperable. https://www.reddit.com/r/logseq/comments/12hxo9c/logseq_vs_obsidian_is_there_actually_a_difference/

@leo have you tried rebooting the ship or maybe use the paper option for travel plans?

@leo That’s what happens when you use a website based in Somalia while traveling on a cruise ship owned by a Liberian company. It least it’s better than all those websites from Lybia and Tuvalu.

@leo Strong signal they think Notion is for work, and that you shouldn’t work while on vacation 😂

@leo I'm in the same situation right now on a Celebrity cruise. My personal site (a *.com) is blocked on Celebrity's wifi. Among other things, it hosts my RSS reader, so I can only access it on cell data in port.

@leo I recently tried to send a question to a company via an online form and their form refused to accept my email address because my domain ends in .tv. The programmer must have only included particular domain extensions. Oh well, no business for you!
