Aaron Yaeger decided that for Eldia to remain free of tyranny from neighboring countries he would have to awaken the dormant power of the Founding Titan within him and make himself an enemy of humanity. Through his sacrifice, the power of the Titans will have been broken and the world will no longer have any reason to hold the Eldian people as ‘Island Devils‘.What other solutions do you think could’ve been proposed or executed to secure peace for the Eldian people without incurring so much destruction and bloodshed? #askfedi,

Well, imagine if there existed a race of people that can turn into 10 ft mindless giants that went on to terrorize the world and then go into isolation on an island. The world reviles them as tyrants and devils while those on the Island have been terrorized by the selfsame giants and share just as fierce of hatred for them as they do. They soon discover this is how the world views them and are left with three options, erase the world in an apocalypse, sterilization, or extinction. What would you do in such a situation?

Lmao, that's pretty much the plot of Attack on Titan in a nutshell. With some very uncomfortable parallels drawn with the idealogy of a certain rejected artist.
