Even little girls do better in school when little boys aren't around. I am gonna decrease male content in my life as well. I hate how the Youtube algorithm always autoplays thecriticaldrinker, penguin, and Quartering (he covered GC stuff) just because I listened to one movie review once. They seriously just whine all the time, and it's getting annoying. Why don't they every autoplay Phetasy, Ramblings, Peachy, or Heretic? I subbed to them, but I STILL never get updates. It was the same with "You're Kidding Right?" I didn't even know she was booted. Anyway Radical Rambling is really good. It's one of my favorite podcast. :heart_parrot:

@Aflowernamedyou I think the term separatism kinda evokes full isolationism so it's been a hard sell but I like your method and I've been doing it for a while now. Wasn't even a feminist thing. It was a "I much prefer media by women and with women" thing. In general, I don't play male characters, watch shows without at least half women in the main cast or read books without female protagonists. The works have to be really good for me to disregard the lack of female involvement. I also just don't engage in hobbies where I cannot congregate with like minded women. Fortunately my YouTube feed is only content that would interest me usually by female creators. I do have 2 male creators I've subbed to though.

@feerique It's not full isolation. You still interact with man, I mean you kinda have to at work. You just don't listen to them if you don't need to. I will spend my time happily fighting for sex separate spaces because it is known fact that women are happier, even excel when just around their own sex.

@Aflowernamedyou Oh I mean that when the term comes up in radfem spaces, it often means complete or near complete isolation which hasn't been enticing many. So by contrast, I much prefer your take on it as it's pretty much been my MO. I went to a girl's only school first grade to graduation. I think it was very beneficial. I thought at first it would make it hard to socialize with or understand men. But I understand just fine. They just can't empathize with women.

@Aflowernamedyou I don’t think you’ll convince women who give birth to give up their male children. At least very few of them.So what's the plan if they refuse? Separate societies—one separatist and one mixed, with the choice to move upon age of majority?

I think the only men I will willing listen to regularly is Bill Maher, and Matt Walsh. I like this content. I don't agree with him on everything, but I like him, and I hope one day to meet him, and ask him a question.

There is such a difference in content when you read female authors too. Most female authors work, feminist work, well, they make me feel happy. Listening and reading male philosophers and "great thinkers" is depressing. They have such a distaste for women, a hate when they address them. Women authors don't sound like that, not even when they describe the horrors men do to us.

You can tell men are truly hate women and refuse to accept we are happier alone. If a women is separate, they will speak on her behalf.
