       if there is a better option for replacement laptop power supplies (when OEM parts are not available) than "Replacement AC Adapter For Asus" brand trash, i have not found it. DIY is too annoying for this as well

       @natalie I wonder if a cheapo PSU can be upgraded with better components in the actual power parts. basically only (re)using the stuff that communicates with the lappy, the wiring, and the enclosure

       @0xdd@tech.lgbt maybe if you could get it apart without too much carnage. but if it requires re-engineering a case i could just diy it with a trustworthy psu modulemy best idea yet is to buy an oem part with the correct voltage/power specs and replace the plug. although half the trouble is finding the specs for the plug
