       @comradepond @StoleMyThundersBalls as long as you dont need monitor etc this would be considered pretty based tier in current climate. i didnt include a psu because some people dont care about buying chink brands, some people will only buy high end ones but you need a minimum of about 600W but I would suggest 800W or greater also do not skimp on the cooler because the 7700x runs hotter than the surface of the sun pcpartpicker.com/list/XzrvBj

       @StoleMyThundersBalls @comradepond thats actually about 2k if you consider just the case alone is 120 on bestbuys website so im sure other stuff is also cheaper rn on other part sites

       @comradepond @StoleMyThundersBalls Don't feel bad about getting secondhand parts. I'm currently getting parts together to replace my i5 2500k (I reckon I'll turn my current rig into a file server). I got a killer deal on a high-end 12 gen motherboard and a 12700k. of course, it was less about the budget and more about me being cheap -  the point still stands though. So far I've saved close to $700 kiwi dollars
