Its Petite France district is characterized by its cobblestone streets, canals and well-preserved half-timbered houses, including the Maison des Tanneurs from 1572. On the 17th-century Barrage Vauban, a covered bridge and dam, there is a panoramic terrace. The area is also characterized by restaurants with Alsatian cuisine.

@17christiana We went there in May 2022 for a week. Loved every minute of our stay, beautiful city. 👍😍I can highly recommend the Irish Pub 'The Dubliners' (excellent burgers!) and the 'Musée d’Art moderne et contemporain' (fabulous exhibitions, great architecture).Would always go there again!

@17christiana I also want to go there again. Maybe in autumn...And another really interesting thing: A tour of the European parliament. Fascinating. So much history and political information. 👍

@17christiana Wow, very cool. Have to check their gig calendar next time I go there. 👍Our next city trip will take us to Edinburgh in July for a week. And on the 14th I'll go to Bannerman's pub to see 'A Ritual Spirit' live. That'll be great. 🤘😊Never been to a concert in Scotland. Went to see AC/DC, Skid Row and The Almighty in England and those were excellent evenings. 🍻😎

@17christiana Been there twice before. Once was for Hogmanay 95/96 and once on a daytrip with from Sunderland in November '95 (where I studied for two semesters).Both trips were great. This time it will hopefully be a bit warmer. ☀️😎
