       @NeonPurpleStar @julia it's just too stable and it does it's job. Linux users don't like things that are stable, they need to be rewritten in Rust/as part of systemd/Wayland.

       @NeonPurpleStar ext4 dosnt have native snapshots unlike btrfs or zfsext4 dosnt have built in encryption unlike btrfs or zfsext4 isnt anymore stable/reilable than xfs,btrfs or zfsext4 is for hdds, not optimized for ssdsext4 has a cap of 232 files per partision, btrfs for eg has a cap of 264ext4 is oldext4 doenst have anything for preventing corruption you have to rely on fsckand to top it off ext4 is slow

       @julia @NeonPurpleStar also it has inodes. And they can get exhausted pretty quick, if you didn't made a lot of them beforehand in mke2fs.
