@CSB I'm not Catholic but grew up in a very Catholic neighborhood. We had fish every friday for school lunch. If I remember correctly, you don't have to eat fish, you just have to give up meat, like mini fasting, a small sacrifice. Once a week on Friday. It's not a biblical requirement, it's a tradition of man. There is no requirement to follow traditions of man to be saved. Only need to accept Jesus.

@CSB @Bierman I was actually in the middle of typing all that out when I saw this so thank you for saving me😆FYI, I am a Confirmed Catholic, and though I am still Catholic I’ve lapsed with my attending mass since the Wuhan virus. I did 9 years of Catholic school (4th thru H/S), 4 years at a Catholic university, and I was an alter boy for 7 years. I like to think I’ve earned some cred to talk about Catholic teachings/tradition.
