       @jefframnani Twitter is a total cesspool now. I've reported at least two death threats that would have been taken down on Twitter 1.0. The destruction of the anti-bot team is also obvious, so many low-follower accounts just throwing invective.

       @alex having followed Matt since the Bush years this makes me grind my teeth. My gut tells me something is very off here. If I were inclined to split the difference, I'd say that regardless of his flawed reporting, he's highlighting the US government having enough influence over social media to be of grave concern, and it's just a matter of time until it concerns far more of us, if it doesn't already.That said, if you find yourself with the GOP behind you, you fucked up.

       @alex @alex  Ok I've never actually listened to Matt Taibbi before. But I just keep thinking he sounds like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. I can hear Goodbye Horses playing the the background the entire time he talks.
