@selea I hear ya. And a bit cheaper it could be also. See also Mikrotik. Although not Openwrt, their RouterOs is great!

@selea I do one device for router networking thing + FW. (pfsense)another device for wifi (6) in zombie mode (I call it like when AP only) with their proprietary OS 😅

@killua99 I currently have a edgerouter and a Cisco Meraki AP, and since I dont want to pay 300 dollaros per year for that one, I am looking for alternatives

@selea I'm setting up https://www.crowdsupply.com/traverse-technologies/ten64 OpenWRT comes out of the box. It's a true DIY device as they don't ship with wifi cards, but it's designed to host 2 wifi cards and a LTE/5G modem.
