@KimPerales That's not an accident. CBS is basically fox lite. Platforming empty-g on 60 minutes last week was another example.Its coming from behind the camera. For example, a few years ago their director of political reporting was hired with no other experience than running comms for 5 different R senate and prez campaigns. I fear we have much further to fall before we begin to pick ourselves back up and many more people will suffer because of it.The country seems to have about 1/3 fascist authoritarians, 1/3 progressives, and 1/3 of folks are completely apathetic. When they watch the video of what transpired today, the evidence will be clear to all to but about 25% of Americans. The State House Republicans shamed themselves & their constituents. The three Dems were poised, authentic, & defended their innocence & dedication to gun victims, the young protesters & getting gun sense laws passed. I urge everyone to watch it.

@KimPeralesI was really impressed with the lady who spoke, she outlined a very reasonable action that I can't see any court censure them for. They were cut off while trying to welcome and acknowledge protestors to their institution, no action justified expelling them behind spite. Is spitefulness a protected characteristic or does it constitute incompetence in service? I'd love to be the lawyer suing them in a court @jrdepriest @Adam_Cadmon1

@KimPerales The Tennessee State House is like a Fox News talk show. If a guest disagrees with the host, shut their mic off. Also the "guests" here aren't guests at all. They are elected members who have an equal right to be there but are not considered equal. Race likely has a big part here too.

@KimPerales Can I ask if anyone remembers if Thomas helped gut the Voting Rights Act of 64? If his career was bought and paid for, which we now have receipts to say it was, and the VRA was gutted by a 1 vote margin, then I say it is not AT ALL a stretch to say Thomas was bought to kill the act that guaranteed his fucking right to vote.In addition, if that is the margin of defeat for the VRA at SCrOTUS, can anyone tell me if I am out of my god damned mind for coming to this conclusion?Is it me?
