       Two reasons why the existential risk of AI is overblown. 1) AGI is orthogonal to agency, and 2) As AGIs become more capable, they become more capable in explaining their inferences. It is when we overly anthropomorphize AI do we incorrectly reason about their danger.

       @ceperez agreed 💯, but it would just take a group of people to use a future powerful ai and give it specifically malicious goals to create a lot of problemsAnd we know there are many such groups around
