One option that's usually overlooked is studying abroad. Many countries in Europe and Latin America offer scholarships, have scholarships or cheap tuition ($100-200 a month) in good unis.Yeah not useful for law, but STEM degrees should be good (in fact, many immigrants use them to get good jobs)RT: https://poa.st/objects/4537e4ed-73b8-4126-921a-def243edf27e

White guy with excellent grades is rejected from all top universities, he ain't going to the MIT 😂😂😂😂And many, many universities from Europe and Latin America are way more prestigious than a community college or second rate uni.Yeah language is an issue, I never said it was going to be easy. But if you're smart for Stanford/MIT learning another language won't be that hard.

@Granwalder @MechaSilvio @PraxisOfEvil in general these big name schools don't have particularly good academics, for all the hype. maybe you get a few more opportunities but the real thing is networking and brand recognitionand as a white guy you can't grovel enough for that to really matter in today's world, so might as well go somewhere that actually offers a good education for a reasonable price

@MechaSilvio @Granwalder @PraxisOfEvilImmersion in another country and learning the language is pretty easy actually.I'm dumb as fuck, but I picked up German enough to have a conversation in it. If I were going to uni there, I probably would have learned more than bar room chatter.

@deprecated_ii @Granwalder @MechaSilvio @PraxisOfEvil yes, the course material is pretty much the same, but you will be rubbing elbows with the legacy family students and that gets you in the network for much higher paying jobs. from the legacy family's perspective, having brown yes-men strivers is actually a better deal for them than someone who they maybe perceive as a threat to their system dominance.
