@CliffWade ugh no I hate winter. I want summer but like can't we keep it around 75 all year round? Is that so much to ask?!

@jcrabapple 75F for the high would be ok I suppose. Ideally I'd want the temps to be in the lower 60's to lower 40's.

@jcrabapple LOL Sorry sir. You also live further north, so it's also a drier cold there than it is here most of the time, so I understand, the cold there is a bit tougher to deal with.

@CliffWade I don't even like it when my fiancee turns the ceiling fan on. I don't need a cool breeze when it's only 70!

@jcrabapple I can't live without the ceiling fans on in every room. I keep them on 24/7, even if it's in the single digits outside.

@jcrabapple My wife is very much like you, except it can be 80 - 85 outside and she'll still be wearing a hoodie. I would literally die of heat exhaustion doing that, as I'm already hot natured as well.

@CliffWade OK I'm not that extreme. I'm wearing short sleeves if it's in the 80s. But I won't wear shorts until it's pushing 100.

@mdmrn @jcrabapple I wear shorts and sleeveless shirts at all times unless we go out to go shopping or to eat. Only reason I change is so I don't look like a complete bum. LOL

@Rasta @jcrabapple Who the heck wears long sleeve shirts? I rarely wear a hoodie and NEVER wear a jacket! In fact, I don't even own a jacket. I do own several hoodies though.I admit, my feet can get super cold super quick. I wear socks at all times except when I sleep. Literally, at all times!

@jcrabapple @Rasta You forget, I live in the south, where it's hot and humid majority of the time. Plus I'm hot natured so that makes it worse. I own 3 long sleeve shirts, two because they were earned in Destiny 2, one that my dad bought me and I've kept it especially since he passed away almost 2 years ago. I can't tell you the last time I wore a long sleeve shirt and have no idea when I'd ever wear one again. Jackets are evil here because of the stuff mentioned above. LOL

@Jofish5000 @jcrabapple I have my AC set to 66F and I have my ceiling fans on in every room except the wife's computer room and the bedroom, only because I'm not in the bedroom at the moment. Even with all of that, I still feel a bit warmer than I would like to be right now.

@Jofish5000 @jcrabapple LOL Likely so. And that 66F for the AC is only because my wife is cold natured. If it were just me in this house, I'd likely have it set to around 58F - 60F

@CliffWade @jcrabapple I'll put my feet out of the sheets, I can't have them covered. My head, I can cover that. And my belly gets cold. If I wear a vest, I can have near-bare arms. I have neither the body mass or circulation to tolerate cold. BUT, I worked in 140°F for 4 hours, fully dressed. I was a guinea pig for testing coolant suits

@CliffWade @jcrabapple I've been uncomfortable in muggy heat, Ottawa Ontario gets these dripping summer days, but I can tolerate it. I could never tolerate their winters. It's right at the freezing mark right now. I am debating? T-shirt, LS Shirt, and Insulated Coveralls, or Vest and Summer coveralls? I might have to work a little and strip down later. ;P

@jcrabapple @CliffWade Don't you just get chilled watching them? I have a neighbour, a big guy.. loose gym shorts/boxers, T-shirt, sometimes a jacket if it is snowing, but still in flip-flops or sneakers without socks> Waits with his daughter for the school bus. I grab both sides of my large coffee mug to warm my hands, watching him, with hoodie and manjammies (Track pants) on. (INSIDE!)

@CliffWade @jcrabapple I was a Marine Engineer. In the olden days, just between Sail and Gas Turbines LOL we had Steam Ships. 850°F Steam, Superheated. You could go down in the Boiler Room or Engine Room and cook steaks at night. It was always hot, the metal burned your hands. And you needed protective gear to visit, no short sleeve shirts or shoes. Long everything, jacket sometimes, boots, no shoes. And when the air was off, temperature jumped 10 deg in a minute. WE had to run without air.

@Jofish5000 @CliffWade @jcrabapple They get cold in Florida. Not often, my daughter lived in Coral Springs and Miami and most of our visits were in the winter, when the Iguana's play dead on the sidewalks and the price of orange juice goes up. Usually two weeks in Feb. Brr.. Plus. Try shopping the meat section at Trader Joe's , you'd need a Parka on.. you can see your breath. I don't even like AC LOL

@Rasta @CliffWade @jcrabapple fewer cold days down south, I’m in central FL. We will see freezing temps during the winter. It’s crazy in Springtime, lows of 40 with highs of 80. Don’t even get me started with how thick the pollen gets around here. 🤧
