       @genuineqz @samtripoli You have found yourself on the Fediverse. The fediverse is a collection of various services that all communicate using the same protocol called Activity Pub. It's all open source, so people can come in and code whatever sort of front end  would suit their needs. That means there's things like Mastodon (where you have made your account) or perhaps you wanted something more like instagroan, you could try Pixelfed. There's a lot out there.

       @genuineqz @samtripoli The local tab is everyone on this server, Nuked.Social. Home is anyone you follow, and the federated tab is the collected stream of posts of all these different types of servers. The more people you follow, the more of the people they follow will filter into the federated tab.
