@Tilopa @tdwllms1 The gun companies started hiding their donations as of a couple cycles ago. So it’s trickier to track. They fund & apply pressure in indirect ways

@voron @tdwllms1 I also blame the sweaty masses, for seeing the bloody carnage all around them, and then thanking Jesus for giving them AR-15's, so they can be so free. Politicians oppress us from above, and Hoi Polloi demand to be oppressed, as they oppress themselves. And together, we'll all be cast into the fiery pit.

@tdwllms1 @Tilopa Legislation & policy in America have little or nothing to do with peoples opinions, regardless of calls, letter writting to congress critters I learned that form organizing such campaigns & meeting with legislators and also from reading studies like the one in my next reply they only listen to money

@Tilopa @tdwllms1 sort of, but blaming the consumers buried by ads and programs paid for by gun companies like rural summer camps Is like blaming drug users rather than the drug cartels.Both the people buying the guns (who are dying from them) and the politicians (who are selling the policies not writing them) are just doing so in service to the people collecting billions

@tdwllms1 @Tilopa want to get rid of guns? Things like a high bullet tax at manufacture with the money eat marked for school security is the way to go. Hard to argue against but the more expensive bullets are the less appealing guns of all kinds become
