Trying something they call 'holy basil'...I think it's maybe indian? Just from the drawing the growth habit looks sort of like thai, which is worth growing b/c it actually does have a distinct flavor. We'll see w/ this one.Only one missed germination, and they're putting on second leaves much faster than the traditional basil, although they're also smaller & more fragile-looking.

@collatz different flavor, I think used for tea? I can't remember exactly what it tastes like but I grew it once and didn't care for it.

@EssentialUtinsil Yeah I've made a drink w/ my red shiso, lemon juice, and powdered stevia that's a lot like lemonade w/ a nice sort-of-but-not-quite cinnamon background thing; But I don't make that or any kind of tea very often.Maybe that'll change this year w/ the tulsi basil, fresh stevia, & roselle hibiscus I'm adding here.
