I updated the article to include a bullet point to not set any expectations for being treated well by members. (Search "Do not set any expectations for being treated well by members")Big thanks to @mks_h@mstdn.social (https://mstdn.social/@mks_h because pinging is broken for some reason) for critiquing the article and helping me out on this.

There have been a few criticism on the structure of my latest article (https://theevilskeleton.gitlab.io/2023/03/24/how-to-propose-features-to-gnome.html). Some have pointed out that the "What is GNOME’s Philosophy?" section is too long and in some ways off-topic.They recommended that I should separate them into two articles instead, to make them shorter and easier to read.I'm starting a poll to see what I should do. What do y'all think?(Edit: Please do note that higher vote will not reflect my decision.)

(Read thread for context)Hmm... I imagine that separating those sections into articles would benefit search engine optimization, and might rank higher, when searching for the GNOME philosophy. Searching "What is the GNOME philosophy" or "What is GNOME's philosophy" in a private Firefox window gets a ridiculous answer from Google (website: https://linuxreviews.org/GNOME):

(Read thread for context)Okay, I've come to a conclusion. I'll split both sections into articles and hopefully have the GNOME philosophy article show up on Google. Thanks everyone for voting ^^

[Not April Fools](Read thread for context)I'll split the sections tomorrow. Posting a serious article on April 1st might give the impression that it's satirical. Just to be clear, I have no intention in shitposting on my blog; it's meant to be strictly for educational purposes. I'll take the opportunity to edit parts of the article to clarify and add some things, because I have more room to write.
