Lol the trans "you are each made in the image of god" statement is a fascinating one, isn't it?Like, it contains the problem and the solution...you were made in God's image, there is no need for society and Big Pharma and Big Mind Fuck to trick you into the need to alter that image.People are free to do what they like with their bodies and minds but this pain and anguish is being manipulated, amplified and exploited massively. Trans people *are* being victimized, but not by Maga Jesus types.

@makeheroismYeah all the brave talk is pretty wild. I am not seeing how crippling anxiety stemming from an overwhelming need to retreat from the circumstances of your own birth can be described as "brave." I can have empathy, but not without honesty. I think it's easy to confuse "brazen" with "brave".

@SirSpencer This deserves a bit of thought. Christians should navigate this carefully. It's true that Gender Dysphoria folks suffering from this mental illness are made in the image of God. For Trans to act on changing their sex to relieve their mental illness is to reject the image God created that person to be. Christianity isn't for everyone. The Trans Person might might find spiritual fulfillment in Buddhism instead.

@SirSpencer God is limitless. His energy is experienced by His creation. His essence is unknowable. As stated, though, Christianity has specific theology on human beings & sex and would go about a different way healing a someone with Gender Dysphoria that doesn't involve surgery or HRT. So what I'm saying is spiritual healing may be better found somewhere else for a Trans Person if they don't accept the teachings. It's not for everyone.

I don't disagree but I just am trying to figure out where your point stems from.The President of the United States over the weekend told Trans people they were "each made in the image of God." I was not implying "oh Trans people should just be Christian hyuk hyuk." I was just musing the President is correct, but the administration missed the irony in the statement that they were created (born) as they were meant to be, not in the wrong bodies. No Christianity required.
