An evil genie (word of warning, most genies are essentially evil, with some exceptions) appears before you. He says you have one minute to choose a location on Earth at a date prior to 500 A.D. You will then be transported and left there. If you do not choose, he will vaporize you where you stand when the minute has elapsed. What do you do?

@mack505 Are you certain that speaking the local languages is a necessity to survival? Interestingly, I've seen YT videos specifically discussing where and how far back contemporary humans would be able to understand some aspects of earlier language variations. It would help a lot to know more Latin.
