       Looking into encrypted note taking apps. I haven't paid any money and maybe it's good that I didn't. This isn't a good sign.

       @ThatDude You might want to check out an open source note app called Joplin- it has a few different options for storage, including encryption, if you want to sync between devices. https://joplinapp.org/ I moved over from Evernote, and it's worked well enough for me.

       @ThatDude @camtron also check out the F-Droid archives. I know there's one notepad editor that offers encryption and keeps everything in a local file until you tell it to synchronize with a remote copy. Looked at too many of them to remember which one that is right now.
