       @lauren A state governor and assembly composed of non-lawyers, lawyers that haven't practiced in years, and lawyers who probably shouldn't have passed the bar decided to take on a multi-billion dollar company famous for having extremely sharp and aggressive lawyers.Disney was going to win that fight, even with both hands tied behind its back.The only way the state assembly could possibly win this would be to retreat from trying to win with existing law, and rewrite the law in its favour.

       @cazabon Of course. But as a commentator said on CNN just a few minutes ago (this is my paraphrase, not her exact words) DeSantis and his cronies are great at taking things away from helpless children, but maybe not so great dealing with corporate adults.
